The Jordan Standard

Criteria for membership was formalized by Isaac M. Jordan, one of the fraternity's founders. That standard sets forth the criteria by which we evaluate a potential member's readiness for pledging and future initiation.

Seven points characterize our pledges and active members:

Good character
Students of fair ability
Ambitious
Congenial personality
Good morals
Honorable
Responsible
