development organization, aligned, focused
and living our core values"
Sigma Chi is an international
fraternity consisting of over 220 undergraduate
chapters and 145 alumni chapters, with over
213,535 living members. The Sigma Chi experience
has helped train some of the best leaders
in our nation.
Most recently, the Sigma
Chi Fraternity was honored by the United
States Congress on its 150th anniversary
in June 2005, becoming the only Greek letter
society so honored.
Southeast Missouri
State University's chapter is also the longest
operating fraternal organization at Southeast,
beginning as the Benton Society in 1891.
