What Happens after I graduate from Southeast?

 

 

Listed below is the information regarding your Access to your SE email and SE Portal accounts.


Prior to Graduation

ü      Your student email access will cease in the fall semester of the following year upon leaving the University. 


What do I need to do?

ü      Establish a permanent email account through a free email provider, like Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail.

ü      Place new email address on resumes.

ü      Notify email contacts of address change. 

ü      Retrieve all important emails and contacts from your student email account.

ü      If you lived on campus, and had installed software provided by the university, you must uninstall the software.


After Graduation

ü      Your SE Key will no longer provide access to Open Computer Labs or Kent Library online databases.

ü      You will however still have access to the MySoutheast Portal and Self-Service System.

ü      Use the Portal to update personal information, view unofficial transcripts, review Southeast news and announcements, and review Southeast billings.


What if I am working on finishing an incomplete/Thesis?

ü      Students continuing work must notify Information Technology if your account is disabled.
