Anhydrous ammonia: A liquid chemical commonly used by farmers as a fertilizer. It is a key element used in the making of meth.

Booby trap: Any concealed or hidden device designed to hurt a person who does not know it is there.

Endangering: To create a risk of harm to a person.

Ephedrine: A chemical substance found in some cold tablets that can be purchased without a prescription.

Gram:  A metric measure of weight equal to 1/28 of an ounce.

Intent: A purposeful or deliberate state of mind.

Jail: A local facility designed to house people sentenced up to 1 year.

Minor: A person under the age of 17 or 18 years old depending on a particular state’s law.

Parole: The chance for a person to finish their prison sentence outside the prison and under supervision.

Possession: A direct or indirect control over an item or substance.

Precursor Substance: Any substance that is a primary component of an illegal drug.

Prison: A state or federal facility designed to house people sentenced for more than 1 year.

Probation: A sentence that is served outside of jail or prison under supervision of the court.

Pseudoephedrine: A chemical substance found in some cold tablets that can be purchased without prescription.
